If the buzz is to be believed ‘Kathilantodu’ is the title in consideration for Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film directed by Vinayak.
This film is an official remake of Murugadoss’s Tamil blockbuster Katthi. Chiranjeevi and his coterie decided to go with the remake of Katthi for his comeback film after a lot of dilly-dallying.
Mega fans are not so excited about the idea of remaking an ordinary film like Katthi for Chiranjeevi’s reentry. Now they are even upset with the title that is under consideration for it.
Kathilantodu sounds very cheesy and doesn’t have the punch of a Megastar’s film. It sounds silly like Speedunnodu, Sarrainodu, Dammunnodu etc.
Fans are expecting a title that sounds very powerful like Indra, Stalin and Tagore. A title like Kathilantodu may appeal to the masses but it doesn’t have the vigour that is much needed for a Megastar’s movie.
Hope Kathilantodu is a mere speculation so that Vinayak and his team can think of something on the lines of Tagore and Indra.
