Vijay Deverakonda continued his ‘bold’ and ‘profane’ public speech even at Mahanati audio launch. Complimenting director Nag Ashwin whose first film was on Himalayas and second directorial is taking back to history about Savitri, Vijay told Nag on dais, “You’ve got balls man. Making a movie on real-life characters who are known is such a stressful job thinking about it. The sets, costumes, recreating 1980s, you’ve made an art,” said Vijay.
This is not all. Vijay talked about his co-star Samantha and said after her husband-actor Naga Chaitanya, she likes him the most. Sam was seen blushing. Vijay said he too likes her and said it is absolute pleasure working with Sam. Vijay indicated that the combination scenes of Madhuravani (Samantha) and him would be less, but he said he enjoyed working with her on sets and she used to giggle all the time in the shooting location.
Meanwhile, this is not first time Vijay used profanity on dais such as ‘balls’, F-word and M-word. Remember Vijay’s comments at pre-release event of Arjun Reddy? His comments at the do have not gone down well with a section. That hasn’t bothered Vijay it seems. While there is nothing wrong in talking boldly, but he has to observe that many youngsters are following him and imitating him that is what irks many.
