Unfazed by the result of his previous film DJ and notwithstanding the fact that he is experimenting with debutante director Vakkantham Vamsi, the pre-release business of Naa Peru Surya has collected a whopping Rs 112 Crore approximately (including satellite and music).
While the theatrical business of the film alone is pegged at Rs 85.87 Crore, the satellite rights (all languages) said to have fetched Rs 25 Crore and music rights have earned another Rs 1 Crore, taking the total tally to Rs 111.87 Crore. The overseas theatrical rights were sold for 9 Crore. While the US rights have raked in Rs 7 Crore, rest of the US, the film was sold for Rs 2 Crore.
In Kerala, where Bunny has a strong foothold and a huge following where Allu Arjun is even called as Mallu Arjun, Rs 3 Crore was earned through theatrical rights. The situation is no different in Bangalore where the film was sold for Rs 9 Crore. In AP & TS, the Nizam rights have earned a whopping Rs 21 Crore. While the Ceded rights were estimated at Rs 12 Crore, Vizag has got 8 Crore. Even though he collaborated with debutante Vamsi, Bunny has once again proved his stardom through huge pre-release business from trade.
