‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Spends 3 Crores For A 12-Second Ad!
The highly anticipated science fiction film “Kalki 2898 AD” has captured the nation’s imagination, generating immense excitement among moviegoers. Headlined by Pan-Indian superstar Prabhas, the project carries the weight of enormous expectations.
Adding to the buzz is the recently revealed information regarding the film’s promotional budget. Reports indicate a staggering 3 crore investment for a mere 12-second advertisement aired during an IPL match. This strategic decision by the producers is a testament to their commitment to reaching a massive audience. The IPL, known for attracting viewership in the range of 60-100 million viewers depending on the matchup, provides unparalleled exposure for the film.
“The producers didn’t hesitate to invest heavily in promoting their film during an IPL match,” an anonymous source revealed. “Being a multilingual film set to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and other languages, this strategy ensures significant exposure.”
Prabhas himself is actively involved in generating interest for the film. This marks his first foray into the science fiction genre, and his enthusiasm is palpable. The film, slated for release on June 27th, 2024, boasts a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan alongside Prabhas.
