Despite being an accomplished actor himself, Abhishek Bachchan is often referred as Amitabh Bachchan’s son or Aishwarya Rai’s husband. And, he takes as much pride in being called Aish’s husband as in Big B’s son. Junior Bachchan loves Aish unconditionally, and he has recently recollected the disturbing time when ‘nasty things’ were written about her in media.
“Soon after Aaradhya was born, some media houses targeted Aish for her weight gain. Nasty things like her using slimming oils to keep her fit, among others were written, which really upset me,” he said.
“Whatever written about her, was completely untrue and it did upset me a lot. She however was unaffected, as her complete focus was on Aaradhya’s upbringing. I’ve never heard her complain about anything, her focus isn’t on the trivial,” Abhishek disclosed in an interview given on the eve of his eternally beautiful wife turning 44 just recently.
“In reality, she is a ‘supermom’. She didn’t care much about losing out on a flourishing career when she became a mother. She chose to take care of Aaradhya, and took a deliberate sabbatical from films. If not she, I don’t know who else is deserved to be called supermom,” he added.
