“Next Nuvve” starring Aadi Saikumar is all set to hit screens tomorrow, on Nov 3. The trailer has promised an enjoyable horror comedy in store. Do you have any idea who is the director of this film?
Its Prabhakar, who until a few years ago was popularly known as ‘Yahoo Prabhakar’ or ‘ETV Prabhakar’. Starting his career a Home Guard right after completing 10th standard to becoming the Managing Director of ETV, his journey in show business is a rags to riches story.
He claims his entry into Television industry quite accidental. The biggest turning point in his early career was the highly successful TV serial “Ruthuragalu”, which was aired on Doordarshan. After stints as TV actor, dubbing artist etc. he came into limelight as the Creative Manager at ETV. It was he, who introduced several successful TV shows like Yahoo, Star War, Smile Raja Smile and a few others. After he quit ETV, he did several stints on other TV channels before finally deciding to become a film director.
“Next Nuvve” is Prabhakar’s debut directorial, which was green signaled by Geetha Arts, and produced by its associative production house, V4 Movies. Can this once-popular Television industry’s megastar make his mark in film industry too?
