Rewind 2017: Seven Amazing Scenes

Every film will have its own best moments through some intricately woven scenes that are topped with touching emotions. In 2017 we have many films that have squeezed hearts of audiences and sometimes gave that hair rising feeling. Let’s have a look at some of such scenes.

Baahubali 2: The head is gone!!

That durbar scene where Anushka is chained and being questioned for slashing out fingers of in charge army-chief gave a totally new dimension to the film. And when Amarendra Baahubali enters the scene, he stuns with his royal walk and unselfish thinking yet ferocious blue-blooded actions. As he pulls out his sword and beheads the guy, it’s a stunning moment for sure. That’s Rajamouli’s action magic.

Jai Lava Kusa: Brothers are brothers

In Jai Lava Kusa, Jr NTR excelled in his three-character act. Just before the pre-climax as the bad brother realises about his two good brothers, and as they call him ‘annayya’, we get our heart squeezed to the maximum. That’s why many people watched the film again and again. Though the bad brother dies, that feeling of brother-bond stays with us forever. Kudos to KS Ravindra (Bobby) for that scene.

Satamanam Bhavati: Father teaches a lesson

The whole of Satamanam Bhavati movie talks about how the modern age sons and daughters are ignoring their parents. Especially that scene where Prakash Raj reveals to his children that he wants to divorce his wife is really amazing. That’s a thought-provoking and also well-executed scene by director-writer Satish Vegesna.

Fidaa: A daughter’s responsibility

When her sister goes abroad, leaving her and father back home in India, Sai Pallavi takes the decision of staying with her father even after marriage. In a couple of scenes, where she reveals her decision to stay back with her father, it’s just amazing. We could notice that Sekhar Kammula sensible touch all over these scenes.

Arjun Reddy: Genuine love echoes

The whole of this film is an amalgam of varied emotions laced with magic. If we have to pick one, the climax scene where Vijay Devarkonda meets a pregnant Shalini Pandey is just loveable to the core. In this particular scene, director Sandeep Reddy echoed that perfect honest and profane love just like that. Mast vundi ra bhai!!

Nene Raju Nene Mantri: Anything for the wife!!

While the commercial setup in this film might sound too cliched, but director Teja executed it so brilliantly that we couldn’t find any loopholes in his work. Especially the scenes that come after Kajal loses her pregnancy and the way Rana plans to win the local body election are terrific.

Ninnu Kori: A true lover’s pain

Newcomer director Shiva Nirvana came up with some brilliant writing in this film throughout. And with a brilliant performer like Nani in his hand, many scenes turned out to be classic. Especially that drinking scene of Nani and Aadhi, where he explains his pain after a boozing session in the night is just amazing.
