Following the success of Raju Gari Gadhi, anchor-turned filmmaker Omkar is now helming a sequel to the movie with Nagarjuna playing the lead role. This is the first time that Nagarjuna would be acting in a horror genre movie in his career.
Industry sources say that Trisha is being considered for the role of heroine opposite Nagarjuna.She has earlier worked with Nagarjuna in King which turned out to be a dud at the box-office. SS Taman has been roped in as the music director for the sequel and PVP is the producer for the movie.
Nagarjuna and Omkar had actually planned to collaborate for a game show in the past when the latter was having immense success on television. The collaboration has now materialized albeit on the big screen.
