Are Mega Films Troubling Mega Hero?

Sai Dharam Tej forayed into Tollywood as the nephew of Megastar Chiranjeevi. From then on, he has established himself as a potential hero both because of his talent and hard work, and the platform set by Chiru and Pawan. To what extent is Tej enjoying the Mega hero tag?

>Despite his last two films were outright disasters, Tej has no shortage of producers and directors. Even a top director like VV Vinayak has come forward to direct him, all thanks to the aforementioned reasons.

On the flip side, Tej is finding it tough to get a good release date for his films. He is being forced to sacrifice potential dates, especially festivals, because either a bigger star from his family or some other is booking them. He naturally can’t release his films in competition with Mega family films, and his producers are averting clash with other star hero films, finally settling for not-so prosperous release dates.

For Jawaan, Tej had to let go Independence Day weekend as well as Dusshehra seasons in the quest for a safe release. The movie is finally gearing up for December 1 release. Coming to his film with Vinayak, makers had announced February 9 release, on the eve of Maha Shivarathri.

This decision was made keeping in mind that Pawan was arriving for Sanakranthi, and Charan and Bunny were coming in early summer. Now, even this release date may get a change as Varun Tej’s ‘Tholi Prema’ is releasing on the very same date.\As far as release dates are concerned, Sai Dharam Tej is really facing hardships.
