After several twists and turns over where to meet AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the last one week, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has finally decided to fly down to Viayawada on Monday along with his wife Shobha.
KCR and his wife will take a special flight or helicopter from Begumpet airport on Monday to meet Naidu and his wife Bhuvaneshwari in Vijayawada and invite them to attend Ayutha Maha Chandi Yagam to be peformed by KCR at his farmhouse on city outskirts in Erravelli from December 23 to 27.
KCR had already sought appointment of Naidu and APCMO sources said Naidu had confirmed his appointment on Monday.
Though KCR earlier thought of meeting Naidu in Hyderabad last Sunday, he changed his decision later on the advice of some senior TRS leaders who want KCR to meet Naidu in AP capital and handover invitation like Naidu who came to Hyderabad from Vijayawada to invite KCR for Amaravati foundation laying ceremony in October.
Besides, KCR has an obligation of offering Bangaru Mukku Pudaka (golden nose ring) to Bejawada Kanakadurga Ammavaru for fulfilling his vow of achieving statehood for Telangana.
KCR wants to fulfill both his obligations by visiting Vijayawada. One obligation is to invite Naidu to Chandi Yagam in reciprocation for his invite to Amaravati by personally visiting his residence in Hyderabad and the second is to fulfill the vow of Bejawada Ammavaru.
