The Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau court has granted bail to controversial TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah. However, the court granted a conditional bail to Sandra. Sathupalli MLA Sandra was granted bail on the condition that he shouldn’t move out of his constituency in Khammam district. Asking him to submit his passport, the ACB court issued bail to Sandra on the surety of Rs 2 Lakh.

The ACB court asked Sandra to be available for the investigation all the time and told him to cooperate for the investigation. Meanwhile, TDP leaders are elated over the ACB court’s decision to grant bail to Sandra. Describing it as their victory, TDP leaders stated that people would teach a strong lesson to Telangana CM and TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Sandra is the co-accused in the sensational cash-for-vote case. Earlier, the ACB court granted bail to Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy and two others in the same case.

It may be recalled, on May 31, Revanth Reddy was caught by ACB along with Bishop Harry Sebastian and R Uday Simha while allegedly paying a bribe of Rs 50 lakh to Elvis Stephenson, a nominated MLA from the Anglo-Indian community for supporting the TDP nominee in Legislative Council elections on June 1. Allegation is that Sandra knows where the money Rs 50 Lakh has come from.
