One of the YSR Congress Party’s most prominent ministers, Vellampalli Srininavs has been in news for the past few weeks. He was denied some land scam in his region and thereafter fired on the AP BJP for their allegations on the AP Government. He has been the mouth of the ruling party for some period and now this minister’s health condition is very critical.
Vellampalli Srinivas was rushed from Vijayawada to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. Vellampalli has been undergoing treatment for coronavirus for about 15 days. However, no development was reported in the health condition. Doctors found that it had deteriorated further without making any progress. Doctors, who did not want to make a profit in Vijayawada, flew the minister to Hyderabad on a special flight after midnight on Wednesday.
The Minister was very active in the recent Thirumala Srivari Brahmotsavalu. As part of the Brahmotsavalu, on the day of Garuda Seva, Jaganmohan Reddy presented silk cloths to Swami. The Minister was accompanied by the Chief Minister at the event. After returning to Vijayawada, tests revealed that Vellampalli was infected with the coronavirus. Since then the minister has almost remained at rest.
Vellampalli recovered in the middle and also participated in the Jagannanna Vidyakanuka program. However, the minister returned to Vijayawada because his corona effect was reduced. Somehow the fever went up on Tuesday. With that, he stayed at home and took medicines. However, he was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday evening as his health was deteriorating. Doctors suspect that Vellampalli has been infected with corona for the second time.
After some hematological reports, his situation worsened, and was rushed to Hyderabad. The party sources and doctors say that the minister is safe and the speculations are rife if he was fighting with the foreign agent because of the way he was shifted to Hyderabad in a hurried manner. Of course, the official confirmation is still awaited.
