Puri Jagan’s son Akash became a talk of the town ever since the release of “Mehbooba” teaser and trailer. The youngster grabbed attention for his screen presence as well as acting prowess he showed in that matured role of a lover. But there is confusion as to the kind of role he’s playing.
Going by the uniform he’s wearing, one could find out that Aakash will be seen as a soldier in the Indian Army. But some insiders are saying that he’s not playing any soldier but will be seen as a mountaineer working for Indian government in the film. Their job is not just scaling the Himalayas but provide crucial surveillance information for the army.
As of now, it looks like Puri Jagan has a winner on hand as the film has not just a typical Hindu-Muslim love story but also a patriotic angle that could connect well with the masses. And with Dil Raju’s arrival on board to release the film throughout the state, everyone is confident of the result.
Produced and Directed by Puri Jagan, Mehbooba has Akashi Puri and Neha Shetty in the lead roles. The film is hitting cinemas on May 11th.
