Yellow media always has supported or has soft corner for Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna.He made sensational comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling him a eunuch and a betrayer. Balakrishna warned Modi in Hindi asking him to learn how to respect his own wife and women in general.“After the agitation, it is time for war,” said the actor-turned-politician specifying their next step.
Interestingly, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Nidu who staged a one-day protest on his birthday eve was seen enjoying Balakrishna’s speech, instead of stopping him or at least making a statement later to condemn his words.Later, the focus turned to developments related to Pawan Kalyan’s visit to Film Chambers and his allegations against the TDP, few channel heads and Ram Gopal Varma.Yellow media that completely covers every event related to the leading party too gave least prominence for Balakrishna’s speech.
In fact, the same media showed their soft corner earlier when Balakrishna made vulgar comments on women. Neither media gave much importance to the matter then, nor did MAA take his words seriously to ban him from the association, though they didn’t take much time to impose ban on Sri Reddy.
