Mahesh Babu is the first star who promoted his films like no other star. It all began with Srimanthudu. And Mahesh continued the round of promotions for Brahmotsavam irrespective of the film’s result at the Box Office. However, for 125 Crore-budget bilingual Spyder, that also marks his Tamil debut, the actor is no where seen in the promotions except the film’s public events (audio,pre-release events).
On one hand, jr NTR is aggressively promoting his film Jai Lava Kusa and smartly using even the Bigg Boss, Mahesh has suddenly slowed done. No doubt, the pre-release event has garnered huge craze for Spyder. Mahesh exuded confidence that he is “hitting” hard for this festival. But he is not seen in any promotions afterwards.
Only eight days away from the film’s release, Mahesh’s absence is worrying his fans. So far, Mahesh hasn’t done any TV shows or any TV interviews. Let’s hope Mahesh and Rakul Preet would step in to promote Spyder soon.
