Indo Canadian Porn Star turned Bollywood Actress Sunny Leone’s upcoming film, Mastizaade was refused a censor certificate for its extreme hot and erotic content. The makers have also appealed to the Revising Committee but was again denied the certification.
The producers now have no choice but to knock the doors of the High Court for their film. If the makers did not manage to get the respite in courts, the film may be banned from public screening in India. In such case, the makers can not release it here but can try their luck in international arena where the laws are more liberal.
The Censor Board officials felt that the only motive of the film is to explore the different parts of the human anatomy, both male and female, in the name of Freedom of Expression and they can not allow the film to deprave the minds of the audience.
