Going by the word of mouth on Day 1, Thala Ajith’s latest outing, ‘Vivekam’ has not just disappointed the actor’s fans but also the fans of Kamal Haasan.
After Shruti Haasan has become a big star, fans were expecting Kamal’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan also to live up to the expectations. They were extremely excited since Akshara was making her Tamil cinema debut with Ajith’s ‘Vivekam’, one of the biggest films to have been made not just in Kollywood but in Indian cinema.
Their excitement however didn’t last long once the film hit screens. Akshara was barely there in the film for 10 minutes. Even though her introduction looked promising, the insignificance of the character and the short screen time reportedly disappointed them. Adding to this, Vivekam looks a wasted opportunity, and thus a futile debut for Akshara.
