Vijayasai Reddy’s statements turn problematic for Jagan

Several times in the past, Rajya MP and YSRCP General Secretary Vijayasai Reddy’s comments had caused several problems to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Now, yet again, another set of statements by Vijayasai have turned out to be problematic for Jagan.

Recently, Vijayasai said that the government would soon move to Visakhapatnam and that the city would be established as the executive capital. He also said that the CM can rule the state from anywhere in the state, and this would be done by establishing the CM’s office in Visakhapatnam. To be honest, these statements were previously uttered by Jagan himself on many occasions. However, the situations now are very different. Days, months, and even years have passed, but nothing pertaining to the 3 Capital issue has come to a standstill.

There are several cases going on, on the 3 Captial issue, in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. As a result, the establishing of Visakhapatnam as the executive capital has been postponed several times, and even Jagan has stopped commenting anything on it. Moreover, if the YSRCP government really wanted to shift the executive capital to Visakhapatnam, they would have found a way to do so by now. All it needs is unrelenting willpower.

The YSRCP could simply go to Visakhapatnam and start operating from any building owned by any YSRCP member, by making it the CM’s office. No one would obstruct the setting up of the CM’s camp office in Visakhapatnam, so this is something that could have been done a long time ago. Given that this hasn’t been done till now, and there seem to be no intentions of doing so any time soon either. No matter how many capitals you might want to set up if you have the willpower to do so, anything can come true. It is now to be seen how Jagan will react to these comments.
