Rising superstar Vijay Deverakonda is a heartthrob of youngsters and no wonder he has taken the number one place among the Most desirable men poll conducted by Times Group.
Although, Vijay’s popularity among collegegoers is still intact, his graph as a box office star is declining with each movie.
World Famous Lover’s final numbers are out and it was not able to collect at least Ra. 10 Cr share at the box office.
It was sold for Rs. 30 Cr and the producer is under severe pressure from buyers that are seeking compensation.
Vijay was not able to live up to expectations post Geetha Govindam. However, this is too big a flop considering his popularity and status as a star.
Vijay should bounce back with his upcoming film tentatively titled Fighter directed by Puri Jagannadh. He cannot afford to score another flop at this juncture.
He is hoping that Puri would pull off another miracle like iSmart Shankar with Fighter to help him get back on the track.
