Venkatesh who is currently busy wrapping up his multi-starrer Venky Mama with Naga Chaitanya under the direction of Bobby has now signed an interesting project.
While several Telugu stars showed interest to star in the remake of super successful Tamil film Asuran, Venkatesh has given nod to feature in the Telugu remake of this critically acclaimed film.
There were many star heroes’ names heard in rumors regarding Asuran Telugu remake, Suresh Babu who will be bankrolling the project in association with Kalaipuli S. Thanu feels Venkatesh is the right choice.
Starring Dhanush and Manju Warrier, Asuran released in Tamil Nadu during Dussehra and it collected over Rs 100 Cr within two weeks run at the box office.
Venkatesh who earlier acted in several remakes is hoping to score another hit with Asuran Remake.
