A colonel from the Indian Army, a major and two soldiers along with a sub-inspector from Jammu and Kashmir Police were martyred in an operation on May 3. After this incident, many Tollywood actors paid their tributes to those who laid down their lives in our defense.
Actor Varun Tej took to social media to salute the bravehearts who lost their lives. “I bow my head to the brave and gallant soldiers who were martyred yesterday at Handwara. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. My deepest condolences to their families and loved ones. JaiHind,”(sic) he wrote.

Varun is all set to play a boxer in his next and he has amped up his training to play the role. Earlier, Mahesh Babu who played the role of a soldier in his recent ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ also paid his condolences to martyred soildiers.
