Mega hero Varun Tej has opted for a brave move of releasing his new film, “Tholi Prema” in the US two days before it releases in India. And, the decision seems to have paid rich dividends as the film opened very big.
According to reliable trade info, Tholi Prema raked in nearly $150K from US premieres. The number is a dollar more or less same as Fidaa’s US premieres. The talk is not as strong as Fidaa’s but the romantic drama has nonetheless received positive word of mouth from premieres. Trade predicts the collections to grow further.
The promising promos, ‘Fidaa’ factor and Dil Raju’s hand may have done the trick here.
