Mahesh Babu’s ‘Spyder’ continues to put up very dismal performance ever since the opening day on September 27. The collections on 4th day were not much to talk about despite it being a Saturday and a festival holiday.
As per trade reports, SPYder collected a mere Rs 3 Cr share on day 4, and took its 4 days total share in the Telugu states to Rs 25.5 Cr. Collections from rest of the world are also pretty baffling except in Tamil Nadu where the film is performing decent.

Distributors, who invested heavily on the film, are now staring at 60-70% losses as the film needs to recover 120 Cr share for break even. Trade predicts the Mahesh starrer to end up being one of the biggest disasters in the Telugu film Industry.
It may be hard to digest for fans and buyers but Mahesh had 3 disasters – Nenokkadine, Aagadu and Brahmotsavam – in his last 4 attempts, Srimanthudu was the only hit. Now, SPYder is going make his BO record even worse by becoming a bigger disaster than the aforementioned ones.
