Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam has turned out to be Tollywood’s new juggernaut. The film is quite literally minting money at the box office even in its 5th week’s run, topping innumerable records, and is on its way to enter the Rs 200 Cr gross club.
Rangasthalam is already the all time top 3rd grosser in Tollywood and collected over Rs 195 Cr gross and Rs 115 Cr share (approximately Rs 118 Cr share including the overflows) worldwide in the 30 days of its release. And by the looks of it, the film will be entering the Rs 200 Cr club in a couple of days.
Rangasthalam has created all time Non-Baahubali records in the territories of Nizam (surpassed Atharintiki Dharedi with Rs 23.40 Cr), Ceded (beat Khaidi No 150 with Rs 15.35 Cr), Guntur (crossed Khaidi No 150 with Rs 7.32 Cr) and Krishna (bettered Khaidi No 150 with Rs 5.75 Cr) so far and will cross Uttharandhra, West Godavari and Nellore in the coming few days.
In the US, Rangasthalam has comfortably crossed the Non-Baahubali record holder Srimanthudu’s $2.89M and entered all time top 3 grossers in the USA. Currently, Rangasthalam’s US total tallies at $3.485M. The film will touch $3.5M in its final run to become the only South Indian film to achieve the milestone, apart from the Baahubali series. What a moment indeed!
