Rabhasa: Jr NTR’s latest offing ‘Rabhasa’ pocketed 8.85 Crores on the first day. This is said to be highest for any film in 2014 till date on Release Day.

While the collections are around 4.4 Crores in Andhra, Ceeded accounted to 1.9 Cr on day one, while Nizam helped clock 2.55 crores. That accounts to a staggering 8.85 crores standing at third place, with the opening scores of Attarintiki Daredi (10.75 Cr) and Baadshah (10.25 Cr) leading the pact at top two positions. With this, NTR is back with bang.

Sikandar: Lagapati Sridhar’s betting big money on Surya-Linguswamy by procuring Telugu version for 8 crores and sold it off for 14 crores but dampening openings and poor script, has made it losing propostion for Lanco guy and he has to return 4 to 5 crores, since it has sankn without a trace and Sridhar’s judgement cost him dearly.

Geetanjali: Actress Anjali’s performance and laugh-riot by led by Brahmi& co, has made it a profitable for bother producers, exhibitors and distributors. It’s hailed as a sleeper-hit and already covered its cost of Rs. 6 crore budget and racing to touch the magic fiture of 9 crores, With Rabhasa goes awry, it could benefit, this horror comedy.

Lovers: Made with a moderate budget of Rs 2.5 crores,it makes Sumanth Ashwin a saleable star for small-budget movies and since it has made 1.6 crore and the comedy track could carry to the safe line and could finally end up making 3 crores, to give small profits to makers.


While Nee Jathaga Nenudali and Gaalipataam, turned out to be duds, despite bold themes.
