Even though he is openly welcoming the defecting YSRCP MLAs into TDP, Chandrababu Naidu seems to be treading a cautious path. Looks like Babu is observing a wait and watch policy until the trust factor is built with the YSRCP MLAs.
According to the reports, the defected YSRCP MLAs who joined TDP were invited for a party meeting at Babu’s official residence on Monday. However, their mobile phones were taken by the security officials before entering the meeting premises.
While the YSRCP MLAs were stunned by this, reports say that Babu had passed strict orders to prevent any crucial information from being leaked out. There has been a buzz that Babu has become extremely cautious with these MLAs following the last year’s infamous cash for vote scandal and is in no mood to take any risks with the newbies in the party.
Apparently, Babu also left the YSRCP MLAs in the midway and stormed to his private chamber telling them he got an important call from Delhi. Some of these MLAs are lamenting that they were made to wait for several hours to meet Chandrababu as he was busy with the discussions regarding the Rajya Sabha candidate.
