Even good directors like Sekhar Kammula love either nouns or English names but don’t take stand like our neighborhood Tamil directors who love to name their films only in poetic Tamil titles. You might have understood the point we are talking about.
With plenty of filmmakers loving to go with English names and even English titling for films in the start and ending credit rolls, many wonders when Telugu filmmakers will promote their native language. Here comes #NTR Biopic into the discussion now in this context.
Though there is an English title ‘NTR’ in the logo design of the film’s name itself, the makers are sticking to pure Telugu names for the credits roll. We could see words like ‘Kala’ ‘Koorpu’ ‘Nirmanatha’, which means Art, Editing and Production Design respectively, being used in the film’s latest lyrical video.
Cinema lovers are opining that it is good to see Telugu getting promoted at least for the film that tells the tale of a great man who has brought a new identity to Telugu itself.
