In the recently concluded GHMC elections, TDP faced a major routing in the hands of TRS. Even the settlers took TRS’ side, limiting TDP to winning just one seat, the KPHB division. The only TDP Corporator who came out with flying colors is Mandadi Srinivasa Rao.
This morning, media houses went abuzz with the reports that Srinivasa Rao is all set to join TRS, after he was spotted at KCR’s camp office this morning.
The news gained more prominence after Quthbullapur MLA Vivekananda joined TRS in KCR’s presence this morning, giving jitters to TDP circles. However, Srinivasa Rao immediately discarded the rumours being spread by media and clarified saying he will not leave TDP till his last breath.
Thanks to Srinivasa Rao’s clarification, TDP cadres heaved a huge sigh of relief as the party would not go zero in the Greater Hyderabad region.
