Looking at the way how PM Manmohan Singh reportedly spoke when Seemandhra leaders met him requesting him not to divide AP, it seems that in case Telangana is created then the credit will go to the late YSR but not KCR.
It is a known fact that it was YSR who in his position as PCC chief took along with him a batch of 32 MLA’s in 2000 to Congress president Sonia Gandhi asking her to favorably consider a separate PCC for Telangana and possible support to Telangana state formation. This was done with a view to corner CBN who was the CM then so that TDP can be weakened in Telangana.
Jagan and YSRCP are no doubt favoring united AP and are doing everything they can to stop Telangana formation and Seemandhra leaders who had come out after meeting PM were reportedly discussing among themselves that in case Telangana is given, then will the credit go to YSR and not KCR and then why are YSRCP leaders in Telangana so upset with party leadership! Interesting point, isn’t it?
