This question has been raised by many including celebrities, ministers and officials at the Haritha Haram programme launched by Chief Minister K Chandasekhar Rao recently.
Ace Tennis player and Telangana State brand ambassador Sania Mirza has been missing in action in the prestigious ‘Haritha Haram’ – a mammoth plantation program targeting to plant 46 crore saplings this year.She was contacted and invited but Sania is not ready to take part in the program as the tennis player preoccupied with training camp and the release of book on her biography- ‘Ace Against Odds.’
Infact, KCR roped in all the state government machinery including ministers to make a grand success the Haritha haram. Governor ESL Narasimhan also took part in the community plantation program in Medak district recently. To the amazement, celebrities like congress senior leader and Telugu film hero Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and corporate honchos actively participated in the plantation programs.
