In a phased manner, TDP is likely to take up war against BJP against the injustice meted out to the Centre. In its latest high-profile meeting, TDP has decided to escalate pressure on BJP and corner the saffron party be it in Parliament or public domain.
TDP chief and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is going to write letters to all the major political parties in country seeking their support for the state of Andhra Pradesh.
TDP MPs have decided to halt the Parliament for the rightful demands of AP. MPs Ram Mohan Naidu, Galla Jayadev, Konakalla Narayana Rao and other TDP MPs have stated that they would go all out in Parliament to embarrass BJP. Naidu has also told his party MPs to fight aggressively and doesn’t mind even getting suspended for the cause of people of AP.
Guntur MP Galla Jayadev made it clear that they would even approach Court for the justice to AP. With the voice of TDP is very clear against BJP, BJP is likely to face tough situation in Parliament in the coming days.
TDP Demands Special Status
Clarifying that TDP has never said that it doesn’t need Special Category Status, Chandrababu made it clear that he had agreed only for Financial Package only after Centre stating that it is not practically possible due to recommendations of 14th Finance Commission.
Since the Centre has now decided to extend Special Category Status to several other states, TDP is now demanding Special Status to AP for the industrial growth, investments fillip and employment opportunities in the new state.
