Takkari Donga starring Mahesh Babu, Bipasha Basu and Lisa Ray was a technical advancement of Telugu cinema when released (2002). Directed and produced by Jayanth C.Paranji, the movie still boasts of its rich technical and production values. The movie was then dubbed in to Tamil then but did not hit the screens for some unknown reasons. And now the movie is going to release this Friday in Tamil with the title ‘Vetri Veeran’. It has a tagline “AP Superstar Mahesh Babuvin Mosakaranin Mosakaran”.
Off late, Mahesh’s popularity is increasing in Tamil Nadu and looks like the makers of Vetri Veeran are releasing it to milk the fame. Lets see if Tamil Thambis receive this movie well unlike their Telugu counter parts.
