If Kollywood grapevine is anything to go by, Anushka is being considered opposite Lawrence for his next film in Tamil. Buzz is that for the Tamil remake of superhit Kannada film Siva Langam, Lawrence is likely to play the protagonist role. For this, makers are planning to zero in on heroine Anushka as the female lead. While it’s not yet confirmed whether Anushka has given her nod or not, the speculation is rife that Anushka might say ok.
Ace director P Vasu, who made films like Chandramukhi, has directed the original film in Tamil. It’s buzzed that Vasu would be wielding the megaphone for the Tamil remake as well. Recently, director Vasu screened the film specially for Rajinikanth. Though then rumours surfaced that Rajini would reprise in Tamil remake, they turned out to be false.
But latest is Lawrence and Anushka are being roped in for the remake of Siva Lingam. What’s more? Director Vasu is contemplating to name the film as Chandramukhi 2. Since both Lawrence and Anushka are popular names in Telugu, it’s no wonder if the film is dubbed in Telugu too.
