Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh are star heroes of Tollywood and before entering politics, Chiranjeevi was the ruler of Tollywood for almost two decades. Venkatesh is still continuing his career doing family oriented entertaining roles. But it is heard that both these heroes owe their star break to another person.
He is none other than superstar Krishna. It is heard that when Krishna was the number 1 in Tollywood during the early 80s, he got the offer for ‘Khaidi’ but he didn’t take it up and the film went to Chiranjeevi. ‘Khaidi’ made Chiranjeevi a superstar and is considered one of his best blockbusters till date.
Similarly, it is heard that Krishna was approached for the other film ‘Kaliyuga Pandavulu’ but again he had declined the film on different grounds. That film went to Venkatesh and it became a big hit giving instant fame and success to Venky making him a star. That way, superstar Krishna has lifted both Chiru and Venky indirectly.
