Sunil is going through his worst phase. He hasn’t seen such a lean period before. More than failures, it is the ratings and criticism that is hurting him more, confides a close associate of Sunil’s.The year started off with low ratings for his “Ungarala Rambabu”. His latest film “2 Countries” has received really low ratings from the critics.
Most critics have given the film mere 1 or 1.5 rating, which is almost equal to getting nothing. He was not expecting such backlash since the film is a remake of a successful movie in Malayalam. He hoped that it would become an average grosser, says his associate.“The reviews came as a big shock,” he continues.
Sunil has already declared that he will go back to doing comedian characters. He will soon start approaching all big directors and top stars for comedy roles.
