We have heard of stories about customers being delivered bricks and mangoes in place of iPhones and smartphones they had purchased on shopping apps. But in a shocking incident, Bollywood star heroine Sonakshi Sinha too has faced the same experience.
Sonakshi took to her Twitter account and posted a picture, saying that she had ordered Rs 18,000 worth Bose headphones on Amazon but was shocked to receive a rusted iron piece in a nearly packed box. Sonakshi also complained that the Amazon customer service department did not act quickly to resolve the issue.
Within no time, Sonakshi’s tweet went viral, and Amazon team had assured her of an immediate resolution. On the other hand, Sonakshi’s tweet became a treasure trove of jokes. One follower told her to be happy since she had at least received the iron piece safely in a bubble wrap. Another follower joked that Amazon’s ‘equal treatment’ to celebs and common people is ‘praiseworthy’.
