SSR death disclosure: Maharashtra forensic head condones delay in post mortem

70 days after Sushanth Singh Rajput’s death, media reports suggest that it is is a deliberately botched up case indicating criminal delay in providing autopsy report following a similar delay in filing FIR for about 16 days.

A sting operation held by a media channel today proves that autopsy was performed and reported deliberately late. On questioning about the presence of alcohol in Sushanth’s abdomen, the head of Maharashtra forensic said there is no alcohol presence took from the viscera in their forensic report.

He stated that the trace of foreign sample or toxic would not last more than six hours and could have gone undetectable after metabolism. He further condoned hesitantly that there had been a delay of 12 hours in performing it.

The forensics head emphasised that it needs more time in general to arrive to a conclusion as even toxicology department is involved in providing the report of experiments.

The doctors reportedly haven’t provided any time of death or indicated foul play. However, few experts lash out that it’s a criminal delay in handing over the body to post mortem and proclaim that proofs have been vitiated implying clear murder conspiracy
