Thammareddy Bhardwaja is not just known to us as a senior producer and director, but also as one of the plainspoken and forthright persons in film industry. In a place where diplomacy and flattering earns some extra respect and money, Tammareddy never chose to go for them.
In a candid interview, Tammareddy revealed some shocking yet straight facts about senior hero Rajasekhar. Going into the details, When he planned to remake Shah rukh Khan’s Baazigar in Telugu with Srikanth, Rajasekhar approached Tammareddy asking him to make the same with him.
Tammareddy who already knew very well about Rajasekhar’s shooting irregularities and arrogance, agreed to start the film with him only to suffer a lot with delayed shootings and raise in budget. The veteran producer admits that as his own blunder and nothing to blame Rajasekhar as the latter did that to many producers by then.
That remake movie Vetagadu with Rajasekhar left Bharadwaja in huge losses and even made him hide somewhere to avoid the financial troubles and debts. Recalling all those, the Tammareddy says, it took years to come out of those troubles and ruined his entire career for working with Rajasekhar.
