Covid warriors are the unsung heroes in our fight with the deadly Coronavirus. Without their help, we would have not won the fight. As to bid to acknowledge their role, the Telangana Social Impact Group held an event to honor the Covid warriors. The Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) in Kondapur hosted the function. Telangana IT Minister KTR and real hero Sonu Sood graced the event.
At the event, KTR showered praises on Sonu Sood and alleged that the IT raids at his residence are to scare him who is doing a lot of good work in the tough time. Sonu Sood is a real hero. We are standing in support of him. No words can describe the help he had done, KTR said.
Adding further, KTR said, social media which is used by people to criticise others became a tool for Sonu Sood to help others. For helping others, Sonu Sood got IT raids and ED raids. This is not fair. He did not fear these raids. I am hoping that he will take forward his good work. The government is willing to support him, KTR added.
Addressing the event in his turn, real hero Sonu Sood said, if leaders like KTR are present, there would be no requirement for people like him to lend a helping hand to others. Talking about continuing his good work, Sonu Sood said, he will not stop the good work and would continue to help others who seek the same from him.
It has to be noted that, the Income Tax department sleuths have shown up at the residences and office buildings on Sonu Sood in September this year. After the raids, allegations of not paying the taxes were leveled against him. As a response, he said, he has not done anything wrong.
