Smugglers Too Have Approached Courts: Babu

The issue of land pooling has become a bone of contention between the farmers in the capital zone and the ruling Telugu Desam party. But Chandra Babu and his team are hell bent on getting their way and are hinting that nothing will stop them from going ahead with their plan. If any farmer refuses to give land voluntarily, then AP CM Chandra Babu has made it clear that appropriate action will be taken. When asked what will the government do if farmers approach courts, Babu retorted that even smugglers of red sandalwood have gone to the court.
Babu said that some forces were against the development of new capital city and it is these very people who have been creating trouble in the zone he said. He further accused the people opposing capital city of shedding crocodile tears. Babu said that people will realize their game in time and reiterated that the final cost of developing the new capital city cannot be estimated now. He once again reinforced that he intends to develop a capital city which would be the best in the world.
Remaining firm on his stand, Babu said that farmers will ultimately benefit from land pooling. When asked that such processes must be enforced through proper laws, Babu said that his government was not doing it using any law. He also clarified that land pooling process will begin from tomorrow. Chandra Babu said that farmers who surrender their lands will be given developed lands in three years time. He added that the capital will come at a place where there are people and not in uninhabited forest lands.
