Against this backdrop, news has emerged that Shruti Haasan might be cast as the leading lady opposite Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan.
Tamil director Murugadoss is planning a project with Hrithik soon and Shruti’s name was apparently recommended by Murugadoss.
Shruti’s initial foray into Bollywood some years back was not successful with her films failing at the box-office. If this project with Hrithik materializes, then it might be the first serious step forward for her to make a mark in Bollywood too.
