Imprisoned and beleaguered VK Sasikala isn’t even spared in jail as she is flooded with hate letters. According to reports, Sasikala is bombarded with hate mails from Tamil Nadu.
More than 100 letters, written in Tamil and addressed to ‘Sasikala, Central Prison, Parappana Agrahara, Bangalore 560100’, said to have reached the central prison since February 15, the day Sasikala admitted to the prison. As per the reports, a few hate letters accused Sasikala for allegedly killing Jayalalithaa. Reportedly, the angry letter-writers have cursed Sasikala and said they will haunt her for ever. Apparently, many letter writers believe Jaya had no reason to die suddenly and suspecting that it was ‘murder’ and ‘murder plot was hatched’.
Sasikala is currently serving her four years sentence in Bangalore’s Parappana Agrahara central prison. She was convicted by the Supreme Court in possessing Disproportionate Assets in Feb 2017. She is now barred to contest polls for the next 10 years (including the four years of her jail term).
