Following the success of “Dasara” and “Hi Nanna” in 2023, actor Nani is gearing up for another exciting project. He has reunited with director Vivek Athreya for “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram,” a film scheduled for release in August 2024.

But there’s more in store for Nani fans. He is also collaborating once again with director Srikanth Odela, who helmed “Dasara.” Odela has reportedly completed the script and is currently in pre-production for this new, untitled film.

The movie promises to be an intense political drama set in the 1980s. Sudhakar Cherukuri is on board as the producer, and Nani will be seen playing a mass leader character. The announcement poster hinted at the theme with the intriguing line, “You don’t need an identity to be a leader.” Whispers suggest Nani will sport a beard and a twirled mustache for this role.

Adding to the excitement, rumors are swirling that director Odela is considering bringing in the versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi for a pivotal role. The prospect of Nani and Sethupathi sharing screen space has movie lovers buzzing with anticipation.

While official confirmation is awaited, insiders claim Sethupathi’s character will be significant. The film is also said to be packed with action sequences. Renowned music composer Santosh Narayanan is reportedly on board to create the soundtrack.

Details regarding the official title and release date (targeted for summer 2025) are yet to be revealed. However, this upcoming collaboration between Nani, Odela, and potentially Sethupathi has already piqued the interest of fans and promises to be a thrilling political drama.
