NTR’s daughter and BJP leader Purandeswari has taken many by surprise when she wore a TDP kanduva on her shoulders. Campaigning for the TDP-BJP combo in Kakinada for the upcoming Municipal elections, Purandeswari was spotted with TDP kanduva.
Seeing Purandeswari with TDP Kanduva, many TDP supporters and partymen expressed their happiness and gave a rousing reception to NTR’s daughter and former Union Minister.
Responding to BJP’s growing closeness with YSR Congress party and speculations that they both going to forge an alliance in the next general elections, Purandeswari has cleared the air. Setting the record straight, she stated that TDP-BJP are in alliance right now and BJP would follow the alliance ethics at the moment and support mutually.
However, she hasn’t confirmed whether BJP would continue its alliance with TDP in the next general elections as well or not. “Our central leadership would take the final call about alliances in the next general elections. Till then, TDP-BJP sail with each other. Since we are in alliance right now, we respect it,” said Purandeswari speaking to media.
