Ever since the intensity of the Covid-19 second wave increased in India, the film industry has come to a standstill and many big-budget films pushed their release date to the end of the year.
KGF is one of the much-awaited films that has been in the news regarding its release date. Although the makers didn’t say anything about changing the release date, the speculations were rife that the film will be occupying the release date of Rajamouli’s RRR.
However, the director has put an end to all the speculations by confirming that KGF: Chapter-2 will release as per the plan on July 16.
Today, on the birthday occasion of one of the important characters of the film – Balakrishna Neelakantapuram, the director shared a glimpse of his character name and shared a poster too. In the poster, the makers included the release date, which reads, “The Next Chapter Will Continue On July 16th”.
The period action flick will feature actor Yash as Rocky and Srinidhi Shetty as Reena Desai. KGF: Chapter 2 is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.
