After producing a magnum opus like “Baahubali”, the production house Arka Media is yet to announce what their next project is. With Shobu Yarlagadda busy in attending film festivals where he represents Baahubali, with the latest being Pakistan International Film Festival, for which he went to Karachi.
Perhaps with the kind of buzz Baahubali generated and the accolades it won at the box office, many star heroines are ready to team up with this hotshot producers. But here comes the mega twist. They are coming up with yet another visual effects oriented project that will have Poonam Kaur in the lead.
Other than involving in controversies where her name is dragged by a critic in connection with Pawan Kalyan, the former Miss AP Poonam Kaur hasn’t had any big project in hand. But now, she featured in the VFX laced epic TV serial “Swarna Khadgam” that will be aired on ETV very soon. We hear that she’s playing the leading lady role whose characterisation closely depicts something that of Devasena in Baahubali.
At a time when there are no big projects in hand, like the way “Chandra Nandini” got new fame to Swetha Basu Prasad, will “Swarna Khadgam” do the same to Poonam? Let’s see.
