Almost every other news item surrounding Bhumika Chawla talks about her relationship with husband Bharat Thakur, who’s a renowned yoga guru. Are they happy together? Or are they not? Well, the couple that tied the knot in 2007, has kept us guessing throughout, even as they seem to be progressing happily in marital bliss. In fact, when she made her Bollywood comeback with M.S. Dhoni’s biopic, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, she had said in an interview that squabbles were common for any couple but insisted that they were happy.
And their happiness was, of course, doubled with the arrival of Thakur junior in 2014. Interestingly, during the filming of Allari Naresh’s Laddu Babu, in which Bhumika plays the lead role, the actress was pregnant with the little one. And the film was the Okkadu actress’ first release after she became a mother.
Of course, motherhood has had its blessing on Bhumika who is confessedly in the happiest phase of her life. She recently grabbed attention for her role in Nani’s MCA and has even been nominated for a few awards this season.
