Politicians in India generally take people who elect them for granted. Most of them will enjoy fruits of power and use all methods for personal gains without caring for the development of the people and the constituency they represent.
This is continuing unabated and politicians tend to follow same technique again and again as they grow in confidence that they can win elections not with peoples support but through fraudulent means.
People for decades tolerated them silently but sometimes when they lose their patience they teach their representatives shocking lessons. The something happened when group of villagers tied up UP MLA showing their anger against erratic electricity and water supply in Alinagar area.
When Babban Singh Chauhan, BSP MLA from Mughalsarai went to the ward no 3 to interact with the villagers, angry people held him hostage. Police rushed to the spot and with great difficulty convinced villagers and freed the MLA giving assurance on their problems. MLA too did not lodge any complaint against the villagers.
