Ever since former heroine Renu Desai, who happens to be former wife of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan made comments about her loneliness in an interview, some haters started trolling her and also busy giving moral lectures. Giving a befitting reply to such haters, who are worried about her re-marriage, she chose to put them off in style.
Sharing her thoughts about today’s society and mindset of men, Renu Desai expressed her worry about the kind of environment we’re living in. “I’m feeling worried because we speak about women equality, the power of females, security from rapes on one side, and another side we give a message that a woman should not remarry”, she stated.
“I’m being sent hate messages as I’ve expressed my desire to be in a relationship yet again. Though a man could remarry any number of times, a woman thinking about another relationship post-divorce is wrong for these people. Should that woman live in guilt forever as if she has committed a sin?” Renu asked, putting her point straight. Making these comments, she shared some of the messages she received on social media, where people asked her not to remarry because they gave them ‘vadina’ status for being ex-wife of Pawan Kalyan and now she may lose it if she gets into a relationship again.
On a concluding note, Renu added, “If our society has to change and future of women to be great, our women should bring up their sons properly. Only then, there will be a possibility of change in their mindset”.
One simple question to put the anguish of Renu Desai into words is, “If Pawan Kalyan could remarry, why not Renu Desai??”. Trolls should have the answer!!
