Pawan, Ask Your Partner To Support Us – YS Jagan

After declaring that YSRCP MPs will resign on 6th of April if Centre doesn’t announce Special Status by that time, the state opposition leader on Sunday took a step ahead and announced that his party is ready to introduce no-confidence motion against NDA government in parliament.

Speaking to massive crowds at Kandukur (Prakasham district) meeting today, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has aimed at Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan and Joint Fact-Finding Committee which was set up to review the allocations made by centre to state in last four years.

‘Telugu Desham party’s partner Pawan Kalyan had set up the Joint Fact-Finding Committee which is of no use,’ Mr Reddy opined. Jagan demanded Pawan Kalyan to fight for special status rather than assessing the allocations made and received by Centre and state respectively.

‘He went on to dare the Jana Sena chief– ‘As Pawan Kalyan asked to introduce no-confidence motion, we are ready for it, but I am asking him to convince his partner Babu to support our motion as it requires backing of 54 members in the house. All our five party MPs, while rest of our members were purchased by Babu, are ready to either introduce or stand for the no-confidence motion against NDA’ and added that neither Babu nor Pawan should cheat Andhra Pradesh people in the name of Special Package because ‘Special Status’ is our right.

‘Since 2014, Chandrababu has been telling that budget-deficit funds are coming to state. But, now that the elections are approaching next year, he has suddenly raised curtains for a new drama of AP being ignored by Central government. Why did he not point it out all these days? why don’t you understand his drama?’ Jagan questioned Pawan Kalyan. He further attacked Babu for ‘appreciating BJP’s previous budgets and now striking at them on same matter.’ Jagan also asked Babu – ‘how can you ignore the right demand of special status and agree for special package?’ and wanted Pawan to press him for the introduction of no-confidence motion against NDA.

‘It’s been three days I declared that all our MPs will resign for demand of AP special status, but Babu is irresponsive about his party’s stand. Babu’s partner Pawan Kalyan asked to introduce no-confidence motion against NDA. If TDP fails to do it, YSR Congress MPs will introduce it by the end of March. If Telugu Desham MPs do that, our MPs are ready to support the motion,’ said Jagan to loud cheer from the audience.

Finally, he gave a call to TDP party – ‘let’s unitedly move the no-confidence motion against NDA & submit our resignations for the special status’ and declared the next action plan for YSRCP cadre. The opposition party will stage protest at all collector offices in state on March 1st and the MPs will fly to Delhi on 3rd of March to continue fight in the Parliament sessions i.e from 5th March-6th April.
